One of the beautiful birds in Kyrgyzstan is considered to be the berkut (golden eagles). In the course of your tour in Kyrgyzstan, you will be impressed by the golden feathers at the back of its head. Their hunting based on hares, foxes and lynxes as well as female birds are very big and strong which can hunt even wolves. They can live for 40-50 years. For training bird, it is necessary to catch it from young age and make it eagle for 3 - 4 years. Over the time, eagle will have opportunity to find mate and nest. If you want to see the season of hunting in your tours in Kyrgyzstan, you will have to come in late October and see not only eagles but falcons and hawks as well.
