Day 1: Bishkek
Arriving at Manas International Airport, guests are met by the people of our team. Then goes transfer to Bishkek, the capital of Kyrgyzstan. Gastronomic Tour #2 is prepared for gourmets! It is the city which had other names in the past like Pishpek and Frunze. Being at the height of 700-800m above sea level it was founded in 1825. The city and the country itself is located right in the center of king mountains. From any part of the country guests and residents can view the tops of the mountains. Also, it is a sort of indication of weather there and probable precipitations in the country. Guests will travel along the sites of great significance like Pobeda Square (Victory Square), Duboviy Park (Oak Park), Central Ala-Too Square, the National Arts Museum, National Philharmonic. Then the tour continues to Asian Bazaar. Here it is possible to get acquainted with the local people, they will tell a lot of interesting facts about the country, the people, traditions and customs followed. This day our guests will be treated with Uzbek food, the night is booked in the hotel.
Day 2: Bishkek - Burana - Issyk Kul southern shore - Bokonbaevo
You will try delicious dishes during Gastronomic Tour #2. We are happy to offer a visit to Burana Tower. It is the great site of historical significance, bearing the times of the ancient periods when there were great wars and threats. Then we make a tour to Issyk Kul Lake, the southern shore of it. It is peculiar for comfortable resorts for the people coming here on the holidays. Visitants are free to choose what to do here - it can be swimming in the salt waters of the lake, warm and pleasant, or hiking in the mountains surrounding the celestial lake. Our team is glad to provide all necessary for you to find the activity for pleasure. Then visitants take a way to Bokonbaevo village and become the part of the eagle hunting. It is the hunting when eagles (berkuts, falcons) hunt hares, wolves, foxes. Berkutchi, or men domesticating and training the birds, stay close to each other for about 20 years. Then the day ends with the Kyrgyz cuisine served, the night will be in the homestay.
Day 3: Bokonbaevo - Jeti Oguz - Karakol
The third day is known for guests to be invited to the gorge Jeti Oguz. Here there is a legend of emergence, as every site of Kyrgyzstan is connected with legends and myths. The people were thinking out such legends for the aim to make an explanation, even in this way. The gorge is of red color, made in the form of the bulls. Close to it there is the Broken Heart Mountain, literally in the form of the name of the mountain. Guests can vault it for 20 minutes or so. The trip continues with the visiting of the Karakol town. It is the city where visitants can visit the Dungan mosque, which was created by the Chinese architect. Also, near it there is Orthodox Church, made of wood, without metal constructions. The dinner is in the Dungan style. Night is booked in the guesthouse.
Day 4: Karakol - Altin Arashan - Karakol
The company of ours is glad to present an idea to travel to Altin Arashan gorge. The way will be on the military Russian car. The gorge is known for having springs which are extremely good for the health. The name literally means the essence of the place - Golden Spa. Being located at the Tien Shan Mountain Range, it opens the possibility to wander here and enjoy the smell of Tien Shan firs. Local family of Uighur will be introduced to you, the dinner is the Uighur cuisine. The overnight is booked in the boarding house.
Day 5: Karakol - Issyk Kul northern shore - Bishkek
While coming back to the capital of Kyrgyzstan boarders will be able to make a witness of the northern shore of Issyk Kul. This shore is known for the shamans to be the hosts of the territories in the past. Still there are ancient images and petroglyphs depicted on the walls of the mountains and gorges. Being here all can make a tour along these images and immerse in the history. The day is of the Russian cuisine, with the night in the hotel. Gastronomic Tour #2 is prepared for gourmets!
