Day 1: Airport - Burana - Chon Kemin
Welcome to Kyrgyzstan! Arriving at Manas International Airport you will be picked by the driver and drive to Chon Kemin gorge. This is the unique place during tour where you can enjoy 3 hours of Kyrgyz horse riding among evergreen forest and wonderful gorges. Then we will drive to Burana Tower and learn more about this minaret. It is important to note that the minaret was built in the 11th century and reconstructed for many times. There is an open air museum of Balbals or stone warriors. According to a legend they were made for brave soldiers who died protecting their Motherland. You will have the opportunity to take many outstanding pictures. Overnight will be spent in a home stay.
Day 2: Chon Kemin - Son Kul
Today you will have an interesting tour of driving to the beautiful Son Kul Lake. This lake is mysterious and always attracts travellers from all over the world. Son Kul lake is surrounded by mountains and considered to be the highest alpine lake in Kyrgyzstan. It is situated at an altitude of 3013 meters above sea level. Travelling to this amazing lake you will be impressed by its healing properties. There is beautiful landscape of green fields and pastures. You will have the opportunity to get acquainted with locals and learn more about nomadic lifestyle. Your night will be spending in nomadic dwellings - yurts.
Day 3: Son Kul - Tash Rabat
Having a hearty breakfast you will have an additional time for a horse riding. Riding through beautiful gorges and landscape you will be inspired how Kyrgyz nature turned to such unique atmosphere. Then we will continue our route to the Tash Rabat Caravanserai on the Great Silk Road. This Stone Castle was built approximately in the 14th century and located in the Tian Shan Mountains. It is made of stone blocks inside a mountain and lies at an elevation of 3200 m above sea level. There are about 31 rooms of 1 m thick. In addition you will find underground pits where culprits sentenced to the death there. You will spend the night in yurts near Tash Rabat Caravanserai.
Day 4: Tash Rabat - Kochkor
The Kyrgyz horses tour 3 will start of driving in Kara Koiun gorge. You will have the opportunity to ride a horse and enjoy your journey. It is important to note that Kyrgyz horses are very powerful and endurant. Riding among mountain valleys and gorges you might find wild inhabitants as foxes, wolves, hares as well as yaks. Some of these animals can provide meat, milk and wool. The second half of the day will start by driving to Kochkor village. You will drive through mountain passes which are over than 3 000 meters high. Also you will learn how to make Kyrgyz national carpets - shyrdak and even make your own carpet of different style. Overnight will be spent in a home stay.
Day 5: Kochkor - Issyk Kul southern shore - Jeti Oguz - Karakol
We are glad to present you the day of travelling to the celestial Issyk Kul Lake. It is defined to be the second largest alpine lake in the world. In the course of tours you will be inspired by its transparency of 20 m. Issyk Kul lake is considered to be one of most visited lakes in Kyrgyzstan. Travellers just love it. The interesting fact is that this lake is never freezes. Over the time we will move Bokonbaeva village. You will be met by the eagle trainer - berkutchi. You can participate in eagle hunting and enjoy your trip. After that we will continue to drive to Jeti Oguz or Red Rocks which are situated in a row. There is also the famous Broken Heart Mountain. Then we will drive to Karakol town and spend the night in a guesthouse.
Day 6: Karakol - Issyk Kul northern shore - Bishkek
We will drive Bishkek city today along the northern shore of Issyk Kul Lake. You will have the opportunity to see all sites and highlights from all four wings. You will have a short break and take wonderful pictures. There are ancient stone inscriptions which were found in 800 B.C. These petroglyphs have age of 2 000 and were made by shamans. Moving on you will find the best panoramic view of the Issyk Kul Lake. Don't miss to capture it! The night will be in a hotel.
