Day 1: Bishkek - Issyk Kul southern shore - Bokonbaevo
We are glad to meet you in Manas International Airport for starting the Traditional tour 4 to the south of Issyk Kul Lake. The lake is one of the most visited places of Kyrgyzstan, annually lots of people come here. It is the site where various resorts are located, where booking a room it is possible to spend certain time being on the shore, swimming, go hiking as it is surrounded by mountains. Then the destination is the Bokonbaevo village, the place of eagle hunting show. Berkutchi, the men domesticating the eagles, are those who know all about berkuts, and the skills are going throughout generations. The yurt is the stay for the night.
Day 2: Bokonbaevo - Kyzyl Tuu - Kochkor
Happy to announce that guests will be able to travel to the village Kyzyl Tuu. Here they will try traditional delicious food, made by the locals. Moreover, it is the place where we have come for watching boosrsok and yurt masterclasses. Boarders will see the way of the yurt setting together and apart and the way of cooking the small pieces of bread - boorsoks. The yurt is mainly made out of wood, with no metal or nails. The covering is made of felt. Right form this village all take a route to the village Kochkor to spend the night at the locals stay.
Day 3: Kochkor - Son Kul
Our team considers that the visitants should witness all the significant sites of the country. That is why we make a way to Son Kul Lake. The Lake is known to be at the height of 3016m above sea level. Being surrounded by mountains at such at the altitude it is rather cold and cool any season of the year. But it is possible to travel here only from June to September, when the territory is not covered with a thick sheet of snow. We are in the Naryn region, were there are emerald pastures, fresh air and very hospitable people. The night will be in the yurt.
Day 4: Son Kul - Tash Rabat
From the traditional lake, guests make a tour a little bit higher, at the altitude of 3200m above sea level. Here the famous caravanserai Tash Rabat is located. It is the building which has remained unfinished. The legend says that the family of father and son were building it, but seeing the caravan the son decided to meet it. Then he met a very beautiful woman, and left the father and the Tash Rabat. The exact time of the emergency is not known, approximately between 10th-14th centuries. The name means "stone barn", but the people call it "stone castle". Everyone will be able to wander about the inside and outside territory, and feel the history. Yurts are the stay for today.
Day 5: Tash Rabat - Naryn
Being in the region of Naryn visitants take a route to the Naryn town. It is the most mountain area in entire Kyrgyzstan. The town was founded in 1868. Along the way to it you will be able to witness amazing natural landscapes, unforgettable views. No one will stay indifferent. There will be made various stops for all to enjoy the views and make photos. Nomads can be met on our way, contact them, they can tell a lot of interesting about the country! Night will be booked in the boarding house.
Day 6: Naryn - Bishkek
Taking routes to the capital of Kyrgyzstan, make a visit of the Burana Tower. It is also the minaret founded in the 11th century. Being here it is possible to feel that history surrounds us. Visitants can get at the top of the tower and see the views opening in front of us. Then pay your attention to the stone warriors, or balbals. From Turkic it means "ancestors". They were based in honor of the people died for the sake of the land and the locals. Then the way continues to Bishkek, the night is booked in the hotel.
Day 7: Bishkek - Ala Archa - Bishkek
Today we are going to organize a city-tour, with visiting of such sites as Pobeda Square (Victory Square), Duboviy Park (Oak Park), Central Ala-Too Square, Old Square, National Philharmonic. Then guests are 45km from the city to the Ala Archa gorge. It is located far from the city as the location is the mountains of Tien Shan. Here you can feel free, think about your dreams and just wander about the site. Boarders can take the paved paths, the short one. Just to wander and breathe fresh air. Or they can make a way along the longer way, right to the mountains - hiking. With it, there is an opportunity to witness the glaciers. The altitudes of the gorge are 1600-4800m above sea level. So, the abundant territory opens great opportunities! In the end of the day you will be taken back for the night in the hotel.
