Day 1: Bishkek - Ala Archa - Bishkek
Kyrgyzstan winter is very special. Travelers will be met at Manas International Airport and drive to the capital city of Kyrgyzstan. The road will take 30 minutes. Have a guided city tour of Bishkek and see Pobeda Square (Victory Square), Duboviy Park (Oak Park), Central Ala Too Square, Old Square, National Philharmonic, and many others places of interest. In the afternoon we will visit Ala Archa gorge located on a spur of the Tien Shan mountain range. It is just 45 km from Bishkek. Enjoy seeing a panoramic view of the gorge. Afterwards we will return to Bishkek. Rest is in a hotel.
Day 2: Bishkek - Burana - Naryn
Start your day by travelling to Burana Tower found in the 11th century as well as an open-air museum of Balbals (stone warriors). Then we will drive to Kochkor village and meet a local family. They will show you how our national felt carpets are made. Learn the art of felt making and create your own carpet. Visit a small handicraft museum there and find out examples of silver decorations, coats made of wolves, horse saddle decorations, carpets and so on. On our way to the town of Naryn we will drive over mountain pass of 3000 m. Night is in a hotel.
Day 3: Naryn - 33 parrots Pass - Kochkor
In the morning we will drive to the second largest lake in Kyrgyzstan - Son Kul Lake. Pass via 33 parrots pass (3 133 m). This lake is enclosed by mountains and it is the highest alpine lake in Kyrgyzstan, located at an altitude of 3013 meters above sea level. It is must be said that nomads come to this area with their families for relaxation. Some people use this place for pastureland. Drive to the village of Kochkor. Night is in a home stay.
Day 4: Kochkor - Issyk Kul southern shore - Barskoon - Jeti Oguz - Karakol
Your winter tours continue to snowy Barskoon gorge. It is especially beautiful in winter and situated on the southern shore of Issyk Kul Lake. This gorge is famous for its grand mountains and the monument to Yuri Gagarin. Jeti Oguz gorge. It's famous for its red rocks formations and called Seven Bulls - Jeti Oguz. See the Broken Heart Mountain. Go on a top of a mountain (20 minutes) to see a panorama view of the gorge! Afterwards we will transfer to Karakol town and visit Dungan mosque in Chinese style without metals and an old wooden Orthodox Church. Night is in a hotel.
Day 5: Karakol - Issyk Kul Lake northern shore - Chon Kemin
Issyk Kul Lake in winter so special. The day starts by driving lengthways the northern shore of Issyk Kul Lake. We will see the whole lake from all sides. It is the best place for swimming in summer time and best for seeing snowy coasts. In the second part of day we will visit a small local museum. We will see impressive handicraft, music instruments and a lot of artifacts. Your warm home stay in Chon Kemin village.
Day 6: Chon Kemin - Bishkek
Let's impress winter guests by beautiful Chon Kemin village. It is located in a national park. Here you can see the real nomadic lifestyle, meet hospitable Kyrgyz people and taste delicious food. Warm houses and tea with rosehips will not leave anyone indifferent. Today we will have 3 hours of horse riding among snowy gorges. You can even meet wild animals as foxes, hares and so on. Reaching on the top you will see the panorama view of the gorge. In the end of day, we will back to Bishkek. Transfer to a hotel.
Day 7: Bishkek - Airport
In the morning is transfer to airport.
