Day 1: Oibek - Khujand
Welcome to Istravshan tour 5! Meet your Tajik driver on the border and drive to Khujand city. It is the second largest city of Tajikistan located on the Syr Darya River on great the Fergana Valley. It has population of 149,000. In past times, it was the capital of the northernmost province of Tajikistan - Sughd. In the afternoon, you will visit the Cultural Palace of Khujant where the first president of Tajikistan was selected. In the evening, you can see Central Mosque. No doubt you will be impressed on tours. Night is in a hotel.

Day 2: Khujand - Istravshan - Khujand 
The morning will start by visiting Istravshan. It is an antique center of trade of the ancient cities in Central Asia, found in the II-VI cc BC. In Persian literature the city called as Kurukuda and inn Sogdian ancient notes as Kurushkuda although current researchers find it with Cyruspol or Cyrus Eskhata created in VI century BC by Cyrus the Great. The tour will be continued visiting the Mugtepa, the fifteenth century Kuk Gumbaz Mosque and home-grown bazaar. Here you will learn more about colorful oriental bazaars, visit imposing fortresses, and relish unusual architecture of mosques and mausoleums. Return to Khujand. Rest is in a hotel.

Day 3: Khujand - Seven Lakes
In the morning you will drive to the Fannsky Gory (Fann Mountains). You will drive over pass Shahriston of 3 378 m. Here you will enjoy hiking tour and capture panorama views on tours. Then we will drive to the Seven Lakes (Marquzor Lakes), about 60 km south of Panjakent. Here we also will have a short hiking tour. On arrival, you will find 7 lakes and enjoy your time. These wonderful lakes have various colors. Here you will meet locals and get their hospitality. Night is in a homestay.

Day 4: Seven Lakes - Penjakent
The tour will start by driving to Penjakent. It is located in Khujand area of Tajikistan in a scenic Zeravshan river valley. This city was appeared in the 5th-8th centuries AD and was one of the most important cultural and crafts centers of Sogd or "Central Asian Pompeii". It has a ruler's palace, two temples, markets, rich dwelling houses ornate with abundant paintings, wooden and clay statues of ancient gods. Its ruins were found only in the last century. Nowadays, travelers will see remains of dwelling houses and office buildings, the citadel with the palace, the house of craftsmen, and fire worshiper's church. Transfer to a hotel.

Day 5: Penjakent - Dushanbe
Today you will drive to Dushanbe. The road will go over Anzob pass of 3 372 m and tunnel of Isticlol. It is famous place is always ready for photo shoot. In the afternoon, you will have a guided city tour and visit Rudake Park, National library, White House, National state seal, House of parliament and Jomi theatre. Then visit the National park in order to see Ministry of Inner Affairs and the biggest National Flag in the world of 165 m high pole, 30 m wide, 60 m long. We will visit Archeological museum and Gurminj Museum of traditional musical instruments. Night is in a hotel.

Day 6: Flight
Istravshan tour 5 is completed.
