Day 1: Kyrgyz border - Karakul Lake - Murgab
Our company is happy to see you on Kalai Khum tour 7. The driver will meet you at the border and drive to Murgab. The road will go over mountains and high passes you will be impressed on tours. You will drive over Taldik pass of 3615 meters high and enjoy remarkable views. Right on the highway of the Pamir Tract is located the light-blue lake of Karakul of 3, 815 m, which can be translated as "The Black Lake". Karakul is the highest large mountain lake of the world, exclusive of those in Tibet and Titicaca. Later on, we will drive to Murgab. People in the Pamir say: "to reach here and do not see Murgab is like not being the Pamirs at all". It is the Roof of the World, simply Murgab. On the route you will drive over the highest Ak Baital pass of 4 655 m. Night is in a guesthouse.
Day 2: Murgab - Khorog
Today we will drive to Khorog lengthways Pamir Highway, known as M41 Pamir Tract. It is the second highest mountain road after highway of Tibet. It lies over mountains and passes on the elevations of more than 4 000 meters above sea level. Then we will drive over Koitezak pass of 4 271 m. travelers on tours will see the rich flora and fauna of this area. Meet wild mammals as Turkestan rat, tiger-cat, grizzly bear, badger, stoat, fox, grey and red wolves. Pamirs delivers a large and prosperous population of Marco Polo sheep, the largest sheep in the world and a strong population of the highly rare snow leopard. Rest is in a guesthouse.
Day 3: Khorog - Kalai Khum
The tour will start by drivugn to Kalai Khum village. You will see the high rocky mountains over 6 000 meters and only 1 road was likely to be constructed. Passing via the Pamirs, the tourists will have the opportunity to see not only whizz the loveliness of virgin landscape, but also to learn more about the ethnography, history and everyday life of mountain dwellers. We will stop in small villages to connect with local people and find out about their life. Another side of river will show you Afgan stony villages and gardens. Night is in a home stay.
Day 4: Kalai Khum - Norak - Dushanbe
The tour will start by driving to Dushanbe. You will drive along Afghanistan border. See the highest point of Shuraba pass (2 267 m). This will amaze you by its exclusive mountains belonging to the Territory of Pamir Mountains. In past times, the Pamirs have enthused the world's greatest explorers as Marco Polo, Hsuan Tsang, Mirza Muhammad Haidar. We will drive along natural border - Pyanj River. No doubt you will like it on tours. You are going to see the biggest mountain system the ocean of white and blue mountains. Don't miss to see the Norak water reservoir or Tajik Sea. Transfer to hotel for rest.
Day 5: Dushanbe
This day is dedicated to a guided city tour. You will visit Rudake Park, National library, White House, National state seal, and House of parliament. Later on, drive to see the National park as well as the Ministry of Inner Affairs. Travelers will admire the biggest National Flag in the world - 165 m high pole, 30 m wide, 60 m long. The tour will be continued to Gurminj Museum of traditional musical instruments. In addition, visit Asian bazar where you can find colorful goods, fruits, vegetables and others. Day 6: Flight
